I’m going home…

…but not for good.  I’m officially headed home for three weeks in September. The tickets are bought, and the real planning now begins.  Although, I am less than impressed, because, as we all know, this holiday to my hometown is shockingly not all about me. This is why I’m taking things into my own hands. As Paul and my father high tail it off to Canada, my mother and I will be headed out and about as well.

I plan on introducing my mother to the idea of sun loungers and drinks by the pool. And maybe we’ll see something like this as well:

Beach at Sharm

I just need to make up my mind where we should go on this girls’ holiday.

Don’t be alarmed if her bag seems a bit on the heavy side – it’s just me stowing myself away to be smuggled across the border. Now I just have to sneak Casey in with Dad and Paul’s gear and ship Mikaela off to entertain Becky…….hmmmmm……

Seriously – Mom needs the getaway to gear up for days of retirement. I’m glad that you and Paul are able to provide them the opportunities – and I’m sure Mom appreciates you saving her from the “Big Canadian Hunting Exposition”. 😉

(Here’s a thought for you – something our brother and I were waxing about when we went camping. Imagine this scenario – the four of us kids all grown sitting around a campfire – would that not be interesting??? LOL! )
