The Adventures of Sarah and Paul
I’ve just finished reading Close Range: Wyoming Stories by Annie Proulx which I thought was a pretty good read. It’s a collection of short stories, all based in Wyoming. It’s not my usual pick of reads, but one of my co-workers recommended it.
So Paul and I are watching this live concert from Trafalgar Square on tv tonight and the Scissor Sisters are on playing from their new album. Well, since I’ve been out of the loop over there for a few years now, I just wonder how big the Scissors Sisters are there. Great dance tunes and fabulous show. I don’t really think you could beat it for pure entertainment purposes! I especially like their most recent single, which I got off of iTunes, I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’. Great fun.
Too bad we didn’t get tickets. 
I guess we’re still out of the loop, even in this country. Ah well, I imagine they wouldn’t beat the Franz Ferdinand experience…
So, while making my second cup of tea of the day, I’ve come to the realization that I drink waaay more tea here than I ever did back home. Not quite sure it’s a good thing – I know the sugar intake can’t be that good for me. However, there has been that study recently that tea is supposed to be good for you, so it can’t be all bad, now can it?
Doesn’t time fly. Two years and one day ago Kim looked like she had just swallowed a basketball. Then, two years ago Kim and John had the joy of finding out what real sleepless nights and nappies were all about.
I’ve just put some new photos in the family section. You will need to log in to see them. Mandy sent me some pics of her kids, and because we don’t see many of those, I asked her if I could share. She said yes, so I’ve added an album there for her. Please have a look.
Now, before any one else goes in a tizzy, I will happily create an album for all of our families. In fact, I’d like to. With everyone being all over the place I would like to create this space for us to share some pictures of everyone. If you email them to me, I will put them online under the family section for everyone to enjoy. Let’s keep it to a reasonable amount, though. I only have so much space and time!!
