Rudders at Home

…the mice will play. No, I’m not talking about George. He’s still tucked up in bed, being very boring and not very entertaining. But, I did go out and play tonight. I went with a friend to see a movie: Die Hard 4. No, that’s not usually my type of movie, but it was pretty good. Quite funny, and it was a really nice night out.

Tonight for dinner: popcorn at the theater, and strawberries. I got my fruit box today, and well, what can I say? They won’t keep till Paul gets back, and someone has to eat them. It may as well be me!

…of mom and dad can now be found in the gallery. I’ve only got people pictures on so far, but I’m working on the rest. I sent out a family email yesterday, but just in case you missed the boat, I’m adding a post here.

I’ve also changed access to the normal family pics. You used to have a login, etc, but I’ve given that up. I’ve password protected it. If you fancy a look, let me know and I’ll send you the password.

One bit of excitement for another. So, 2.5 weeks of holiday were not enough for my husband. Nope, not at all. He goes back in to work today to find that he’s got a business trip lined up. And yep, he’s left today. He caught a plane BACK to the States this afternoon, and I won’t see him again until Saturday. I wasn’t even tired of him yet!!

So, I’m hanging out here. Going to the movies tomorrow, and may meet up with some friends later this week. No rest for the wicked, blah blah blah.

At 11:18 am Mom and Dad were finally airborne. They should be home this evening at some point – my nice big brother is meeting them at the airport to get them back where they belong.

It was such a great time. Even though I’m happy to have my bed back, I’ll really miss them.

I’ll post more about the trip later. Right now I’m just going to chill for a while.
