How quaint!

I noticed something here once while I was on my way to work. Some folks had bottles of milk at their front door. I questioned Paul about it and low and behold, found out that you can get milk delivered to your door. Of course I wanted to get milk delivered to MY door too! Well, it’s been a couple years, but I’m finally getting my wish.

New cookbook

So, yesterday, while we were out, I bought a new cookbook. I got myself another Good Housekeeping book – the other one I have I’ve used quite a bit. Now, cookbooks are something of an addiction for me, and as mom has said I probably have too many, but I really just enjoy them. This one in particular is a low GI cookbook, supposed to be for healthy eating, but I thought there were some nice easy salads in there that I could put together for lunches. The Partridge

Paul and I finally made our way down to the Partridge the other day. We’ve had drinks in there before, but this time we actually decided to have a proper pub lunch. And it was soooo nice. The menu itself is pretty decent, but I really had my eye on trying one

The beer selection isn’t bad, and it’s a little older crowd in there than what’s in the Walkabout next door. We didn’t feel out of place and were able to enjoy a drink in peace. I think we’ll heading back for another sometime soon.

Don’t feel like dancin’

So Paul and I are watching this live concert from Trafalgar Square on tv tonight and the Scissor Sisters are on playing from their new album. Well, since I’ve been out of the loop over there for a few years now, I just wonder how big the Scissors Sisters are there. Great dance tunes and fabulous show. I don’t really think you could beat it for pure entertainment purposes! I especially like their most recent single, which I got off of iTunes, I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’. Great fun.

Too bad we didn’t get tickets. Frown I guess we’re still out of the loop, even in this country. Ah well, I imagine they wouldn’t beat the Franz Ferdinand experience…
