The Blue Man Group

We went into London tonight to the theater and a nice dinner. We saw the Blue Man Group and then after had dinner at Sofra’s in Covent Garden. The Blue Man Group was fabulous, Sofra’s, this time round, not so good…
The Blue Man Group was fabulous. Going in you’re not sure what to expect. Only knowing them from the old Intel commercials in 2000 or so, the only thing you really know on the surface is that the show has three guys in it and they’re blue. It’s so much more than that, really. There’s paint, there’s music, there’s humor, there’s audience involvement – tons and tons of things to keep your attention. It was definitely one of the most entertaining shows that we’ve seen yet. It was so cool and a really good show.

Sofra’s was a bit disappointing this time round. Usually it’s so good, food and service-wise, but the service tonight was really bad, and I think it will be a while before we go back to it. Such a shame.

New pictures!

Well, getting Gallery 2 set up wasn’t a trial at all, and from there I’ve started getting some pictures back up on the site. So far I’ve got Barcelona, Dublin, and Geneva. Still struggling with a few things, captions and layout a bit, but things are looking pretty good. Check it out!

New Site Update

So, I’ve got this new site up and running a bit better than at the weekend. Now, I know you’re wondering where all my pictures have gone – that IS the only reason you’re here after all. Well, you’ll just have to be a bit more patient with me. I’ve decided to reorganize EVERYTHING.
Simple as this, really. I got tired of keeping up the links, etc. I wanted something a bit more professional looking, especially since content management IS my thing, after all, and well, I was getting so many images together they needed a little bit more tending after. Plus, something that’s been in the back of my mind for ages is that this little adventure of mine – living in London for, oh say, 3 years, which has somehow gotten out of hand and travelling the world – should be documented somehow. So I’m doing that now. Let’s see how long it takes me to get bored.

So, working on the images, they’ll come in a bit. Let’s hope the wait is worthwhile.
